About the event
Join us for a fabric painting class! Discover the art of fabric painting and learn various techniques to create stunning designs. By the end of the class, you will have a beautifully painted apron to take home. Explore different fabric paints and master techniques that range from soft watercolor effects to sharp, defined lines.
Sandy Moore, a local fiber artist with over 5 decades of experience dying, coloring and collaging fabric, will be one of your instructors. She has had her work shown in galleries across the NW and is this year's featured artist for the Washougal Art Festival. Her artwork has been chosen to represent the festival, and it graces this year's festival poster. You can see her work online at her website: sandymoorearts.com .
Tamara Dinius, a mixed media artist with over 40 years of experience, will also be teaching the class. Her inspiring and empowering teaching style has been widely shared. Tamara's work is displayed throughout Clark County, and she is the featured artist at Bacchus Winery in Newberg, Oregon.
The class will take place at Tamara’s studio/classroom. You will leave with new techniques and a piece of art. Handouts will be provided that outline the supplies used and the resources for them. We will supply templates to help you get the most out of the class, but we also encourage you to develop your own concepts from start to finish.
Spaces are limited, so join us for this exclusive class and start your journey in fabric painting! Reserve your spot today and unleash your creativity.
